Innovation is easier with friends – SMI in GUH News

We recently had the great pleasure to write a piece for our friends at the Global Underwater Hub’s digital publication GUH News.

As an SME, we really take our position seriously – as it has been the result of vision, following through on strategy, and a lot of hard work. We’re acutely aware that not every SME in the UK is in the same position as us, and we also know that despite this the UK SME ecosystem is made up of some of the most innovative and visionary people that we know. That is something that we are very proud of; we’re a part of a group of companies, people, and communities that are often at the very forefront of technology and business practice. That is what we wanted to capture in our piece with GUH News – innovation and forward movement is critical for survival in any industry (especially technology) but it’s also a journey that is made a little easier with cooperation and collaboration in our unique SME community. Whether that’s the subsea community or not is another question, but it is something to keep in mind in any industry! Bear in mind also that collaboration is going to be even more important as renewable energy continues to grow.

So, if you find yourself in a similar position and you want perhaps a bit of reassurance that you’re on the right track with your own innovation journey in the subsea sector in the UK – why not take a few minutes and read the piece our CEO Jenny Shaw has penned.

And if you want to perhaps find a partner to help innovate and hit goals for your own customers, then why not get in contact to see if we can collaborate? You can read the piece here, and you can find out more by contacting us here.

We look forward to collaborating and innovating with you to get the UK deeper and deeper into the subsea sector!
